Türkmen Goat's Head Socks Pattern
A toe-up sock with gorgeous traditional Türkmen motifs created with 3 colours per row. The sock is entirely purled (rather than knit) in the old Eastern style with the yarns tensioned on pins at the shoulders. Because this is not a common knitting style, the pattern is written in HTML format in order to include 18 small videos which illustrate aspects of creating the socks in the old eastern style. Video topics range from trapping with three colours, to two new cast-ons which are variations of Judy's magic cast-on using 2 and 3 colours.
